Exclamation Interior Gas Smell How it was fixed poll

What fixed your problem--- Not what you suggest
I've had a fuel smell problem in my car for sometime now. I've read alot and have found this to be a common problem. I want to know what you did to fix you problem.
This is for interior and engine bay smell. Not fuel smell towards the rear end of the car.

I don't want people who have never fixed this type of problem voting

Found my problem - Leaking FMU. Looks like after 45000 miles the screw came a little loose.

my friend had that problem with his 95' T/A, the reason was the fuel lines in the engine compartment had melted slighty and were leaking, when it was getting fixed the guy moved the line, the melted part unsealed from whatever it was touching and gas sprayed all over, good thing the car was off at that moment

If you have a gas smell get it fixed, dont need ur car to randomly go up in flames
