Intake rebuild advice

I am going to muster up the courage to replace my leaky intake gasket this weekend. Any last minute advice? I have never done anything this difficult before.

Or you can just pull the rails up with the fuel lines intact, release the clip that holds the 2 hard lines to the intake manifold, and flip the rails back onto the windshield, with the fuel lines still connected.

not sure if anyone has told you, or if you know, but if you can get some "Right Stuff" or equivalant gasket sealer and make your own cross over gaskets, and make sure you let it sit for 24 hours after you get it all put back together before you start it up!

There are no "crossover" gaskets to begin with... it's black RTV from the factory.
