Does the coolant pass through the intake on the LT1?

I had overheating and gunk in the intake, changed the oil and it was clean so I kept driving it anyway. One day a big puff of white smoke came out of the exhaust and it started running differently (kind of hesitating) but didn't smoke afterwards. Drained the oil, it was full to the dipstick tube with oil/antifreeze/gray gunk.

Since there was some AF splatter on top of the engine I took the intake manifold off and am trying to determine if the coolant could have leaked in through the intake.

sounds like head gasket, or something more serious

 

hopefully you didnt blow a head gasket.

 

Hopefully you didn't drive it for too long. I would be worried about the coolant/oil mix sludging up the engine bearings.
