intake options

I am building a solidroller 383 with a Joe Overton cam and Afr 210 LT4 style heads.12.0:1 compression.I am just wondering what type of intake I can go with. The plan is 450 rwhp through the 4200 stall A4 and 12 bolt rear.

I know I can port the stock one to fit the LT4 style heads but I am more interested in converted single plane intake such as victor jr.Where can I buy one of these?

I AM NOT INTERESTED IN SPENDING $1200.00 ON A LT4 INTAKE

thanks
Dave

Re: intake options

Check out Edlebroks' new intake. I believe that it is meant to fit the LT4 style heads, and it won't cost you $1400.

Re: intake options

Can I port the stock one to fit the LT4 style heads and flow good enough to support the setup I plan to run in post#1?

Re: intake options

A search for "Single Plane" on LT1 Tech and Advanced tech would get ya what ya want.

To get the stock intake to bolt up you need to do some welding and maching to it to get it to work.
