Intake Manifold leak
Intake Manifold leak
in the midst of trying to fix one problem I ALWAYS end up breaking something and creating another problem lol
First off:
I broke a the hose that goes from the TB to the passenger side valve cover, it has a little bit of oil in it.. What is it called? Where can I get a replacement? Is oil bad?
Second:
I broke the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve hose that connects to the EVAP canister. Where do I get a replacement? I broke it right next the TB.
Also, is this normal? The car runs fine, still pulls hard, no knocking or sputtering,
some intake ports are black and others are clean

Look on shoebox's website for part numbers. Not sure if you can still get the evap hose or maybe even the breather tube. You may have to go to a parts store and get rubber hose cut to length.
As far as the oil valley goes, there is a significant amount of sludge buildup. Overwhealming evidence that the oil was not changed when needed and possible short trips where the engine did not get up to operating temperature.
Looks as though your intake gaskets were leaking as well.
My advice when re-installing the intake is to clean the mating surfaces very well by using brake cleaner. No need to dimple or deface the block/intake in any way no matter who tells you what. They key to fixing this leak is to make sure to let the sealant cure at least 12 hours (24 preferably) and retorque the intake bolts after a weeks worth of driving.
I don't think I'd even attempt to try and clean any of the sludge unless it is crap that can easily come up. You can at least clean the cylinder intake ports some.
