intake manifold install

OK getting ready to set the manifold. I have the Fel-Pro 1284 gaskets and was wondering if I should put a thin coat of rtv around the intake pasages on the gasket like the haynes manual says to?

Or do these gaskets not need RTV? Thanks

Only place that needs RTV is the front and rear of the intake run a bead about 1/2" up on the gasket on each side. Let it dry awhile before starting it up.
