is there neccessarily a horsepower loss when your intake manifold is leaking?? I know for sure that my inhtake manifold is leaking, but it is a slow leak...i mean like a drip every other day or so. Basically, i am not in too much of a rush to fix it, but if it is hurting my performance, then i will get right on it. My idle is fine, and if i accelerate slowly, i dont notice any surging. I am just curious to know what your guys' experience is with this.

 

I don't think you should see a power loss. My car has the intake leak. It runs strong as hell. I'll have to get it fixed soon because it's annoying the hell out of me....
