Intake leak

I think I have the dreaded intake leak. I have read posts that say most happen on the back of the intake around the egr but I noticed oil on the front of my block. I thought it was the front main seal but after removing my intake last night I notice oil on the block beneath my tb. Has anyone else had the leak on the front? I also noticed quite a bit of sealant where the block and intake meet which leads me to belive that it has been repaired at least once. What do you guys think? Could the leak be coming from somewhere else and if so where?:

Leaks can occur anywhere...Chevy uses silicone from the factory to seal the intake...My advise to you---when you go back together use a little sandpaper on the intake and block end seal area and use MOPAR BLACK SILICONE from any chrysler or dodge store, if they have the GREY stuf that would be even better...DO NOT use the stuf chevy used that stuff is garbage!!!!
Also see if you have oil inside the T-Body you may have some other problem, maybe high crankcase pressure or bad PCV valve..

Thanks for the tb advise. I am planning on cleaning it good when I tear into it. I noticed it was very dirty. I had planned on seafoaming the engine, should I do this before or after the oil fix?

Permatex Ultra Copper is also supposedly a good choice for doing this fix too.

How many of you have fixed up the EGR (heat wrapped it or relocated it?) afterwards in order to keep this from happening again? I've heard the heat from the EGR is the main reason the leak occurs. I've got the leak but it's very minor right now so I'm not going to go through the hassle of fixing it or paying someone to fix it right now. I leak out less than one quart every 6000 miles.
