intake fix, rtv setup time question....

im gettting ready fix my intake leak this weekend, the temps are only going to be 30's during the day and 20 at night.

how long will it take RTV sealant to cure out at that temp?

i would wait till it warms up. If you are gonna go through with it wait two day for it to dry.

I would really wait till it warms up. How bad is the leak?

i was trying to get my car back together, it would be at least 2 weeks before i start it.
im in the process of a long tube install as well.
the weather here is really cold, it wont warm up until march or so. and i dont have a garage

would it be ok i let it set for a week or so?

12-24 hours is usually sufficient according to my buddy who is a mech.

even at temps that freezing or below?

i guess i will find out....
i put the intake back on today, temp in the 30's.

Temp in the 30's OMG I could only wish!

Yes, I think that 24 hours even at that temp would be OK.

the temps here have been below freezing for over a week, today was the 1st above freezing high temp was 35f
with low temps from 10-20f

i cant wait for summer....

I just did mine about 2 weeks ago (17th), and it was ~25-30 at night. I let it sit about 12 hours and I have zero leaks. I "tested" the RTV by seeing if it had firmed up where it squirted out in the front and back of the intake. It felt firm so I fired it up.
