intake CAI alternative fitting

I got a CAI kit for an LT1. Mine is a 93. I got mine from a guy with a 96. Im a dummy, I forgot about gap for MAFS. Should a 3 1/2" piece of pipe or hose with screw tightened clamps work for the gap? (I guess learning to improvise to improve is what hot rodding is about anyways.)

I'm sure you could make it work somehow. Give it a try.

Some PCV pipe should do it with some pieces of rubber and clamps.
