Intake bolts don't fit....

I went to bolt the intake on and only one side fits. The other side needs to be elongated a bit. I'll take a bit off each side just to be safe. Other than that the intake seems to seal and sit tight to the heads and with the addition of the rtv, it should seal well around the rail.
How much can be milled off the heads before the intake doesn't fit properly?
Check the sig, to see info on motor. Glad I plan on ditching work tomorrow, cause I didn't get much done tonite.

Do a little on both sides as to not mess up the port alignment, looks better too.
Should be able to go .030 with no problem on the milling.

Yeah, I got to try to dig up a carbide. I got some some where. It's weird cause when you look down the hole, it looks fine but the angle throws it off abit. I tried putting bolts in there for about 10 minutes till I finally was "convinced" . It really isn't much that has to come out. Just one more obstacle to getting this together. I love working on LT1's......

That's the way with any of them Ford or Chevy. When ya start changing things it don't stop until it's running.
