Unhappy installs can never go smooth (valvetrain)

we are installing the 847 cam, with comp 1.6's and K800's with titanium retainers... first of all I don't know if Like how the shim and spring can just move around in the valve seat, they fit, but just barely.

so I got over it and decided I'll just check on them later, but now the rockers are touching the retainers, but just a couple, I had the idea at first that it could be because the lifters arn't pumped up yet, but we switched the lifter location and it still happens on the same rocker, so that isn't it.

I'd like to not have to go out and buy more parts, but the idea of lenghtened pushrods came up...

question is, what lenght should I go with, preferrably one that is a pre made lenght and in stock somewhere.

Sorry if I'm rambleing we just haven't gone to sleep yet.

at least there is some good news, we discovered the motor I got has 4 bolt mains.

I just installed the 847 cam too. Be certain you degree the cam and check piston to valve clearance. As for your valve retainer problems, sorry but I can't help you there; my heads came completely assembled from LPE.
