installing new rocker studs

I'm putting in a set of 7/16 studs

I know I have to torque these down to 50 '# but was wondering if I should use some anti seize, sealent or locktight on them as well?

Yep, put a dab of red thread locker on the studs before you torque them down.

Yeah, what he said. you definitely need sealent as the stud hole break into the water passage.

EDIT: What Ibanez said... The other guy posted at the same time.

I know on some heads they do, but on stock unported LT1 heads?

I am pretty sure... And even if they don't Sealant can't hurt and it will provide for more consistant torquing.

I think they are blind holes on stock heads. Only if you port too far and break into the stud area, is it a problem.
