Installing motor with headers already in place

I am installing my 1994 LT1 back in my Camaro. I was wondering if I could put my headers in place with my Y pipe and just install my motor. Just thinking to make things a little easier. Will they be in the way for the motor mounts and when I install the tranny. Headers are Mac mid-lengths.

You can install the motor with shorties attached, I'm not sure about mid-lengths.

If you have your motor and trans. pulled out of the car, it makes things alot easier if you put the two together outside the car. The trans. attached will put just enough weight towards the back to tilt the motor at the perfect angle to just slide in.

If you do it from the bottom you can install it with the tranny and long tubes attatched no problem

I do have both the tranny and engine out of the car. I was wondering if I could put both back in the same time. I thought I never had enough room?
