installing LT4 valvesprings hurt anything?

Im about to change out my headers only and while I have them off, Ive decided to install my LT4 valve springs I have. Later Im going to put in 1.6's.

I have 86K on my z28 and new valvesprings cant hurt.

Will the small extra tolerances and load from the LT4 valvesprings hurt stock LT1 valvetrain or the cam (bearings)?

I was wondering the same thing. My 96z has 90k and a slight lifter tick and I am going to put my cranes from my RS on the 96 and then get NSA for the RS. I was going to use LT4 springs on the install but was concerned about the LT4 spring pressure on the ticking lifter(s) causing premature failure. Anyone have any idea? Before anyone says replace the lifters I was going to do that when I do a cam, timing chain, and push rods. But at the same time I don't want to cut off my nose to spite my face. Thanks

No they wil work fine, just need to worry about the retainer because they are junk. If your running anything more than a hotcam then your going to have to swap out the LT4 springs as well
