Do you know what kind of rockers, brand wise? Look at the rocker body they might have the ratio stamped on them. I would think they should be fine but hard to say will such little info.

Yeah i havent pulled the covers to look at them, they were installed when the motor was built right before i got the car. the work order didnt specify, it just says roller rockers. i guess i could pull one of the covers this afternoon and find out.

Re: Installing a GM847 soon
This exactly what has been done to my car..minus the mild head work.
8 1030 hyper pistons
1 set 1030 moly rings
overhaul gasket kit
3 piece timing set
8 std rod bearings
1 set std main bearings
1 oil pump
1 oil pump pick up
1 oil pump drive
1 police roller cam
1 set roller tip rockers
bore .030 over
polish crank
press work (pistons)
block prep
valve job #3
for a grand total of $2,066.95
now all of this was done back in febuary of 2001 at 74,000 miles, just last week i rolled over 100,000!!! it was a sad day...

Re: Installing a GM847 soon
I'd not get an oil pump as i see no reason to. I'd also make sure you get a good timing chain as i'd assume from the price of your rebuild you're running a stock chain. You need to get more info on the roller rockers.
