26915 beehive springs and LT4 seats info inside

I have been posting a lot of stuff regarding the Comp beehive
springs and concerns I have with using the LT4 spring seat. To
help visualize this I have taken a picture.

26915 w/LT4 Seat

It's a larger file so you can see the detail on the fit between the
LT4 seat and the spring. You can see a gap where the spring is
not sitting flush with the seat. This is after I pressed the spring
and seat to coil bind on my arbor press. If the spring is not going
to sit flush with the seat at coil bind then it's probably not ever
going to sit flush. The fit between a spring locator/seat and the
spring should have some play, very litte, but some.

Most of the discussion has been on the Impala SS board but I
wanted to share the info here in case some of you are considering
running the beehive springs. If I am full of hot air on the topic and
there is no problem with running a spring/seat combination as
shown in the pic, please let me know. I just want to assemble the
parts in the best/safest manner possible.
