Re: installing coil and icm

PUT IT ON THE BACK OF THE ICM!

I failed to do that and maybe 1 day after i got my car running (after having the heads of for a month) I was on a highway and the car just died. I had to get towed home and spent 2 days finding the problem. Then it cost like $80 for a new one. I have never had any trouble with the coil.

Re: installing coil and icm

I installed it, but I accidentally installed it upside down.....this accutally gives me a firmer connection from coil to opti.....drove the car last night...all good.....but the real test will be in warmer weather.

Go to Shoebox's Tech Pages and look for the writeup for spacing the module off the head, to reduce operating temperature.
