Installing 3.73 gears- Attempting to install them myself.
I did a search and didn't find anything.
I've done other things but not gears.
How difficult is an installation of gears. I'm just a little worried about the gears whining. I'm looking to install the gears myself.
Any ideas?

I highly recommend you have them done professionally. Gear installation is very tricky to get right. It should not be attempted by anyone but an experienced mechanic . Or else you will go through sets of gears like underwear

Mine turned out great! Make sure you have some time on your hands and a good pinion depth gauge. Nothing about it was too terribly difficult, but it can be very tedious work. The biggest PITA was setting the solid pinion spacer, a pneumatic hammer came in handy for punching out the pinion gear.
Definately not the most fun install I've ever done, but if I can pull it off I'm sure others can as well.

If you have the right tools you can do it.
