Installing 26918 beehive springs.......

I asked this in someone elses thread the other day and did not get ANY response, can I use the stock seats or do I need to get 4705-16 spring seats when installing the 26918's?

I did not use the stock seats. Many have used the stock seats with
the 26918s. Here is a pic with a 26915 spring and an LT4 seat:

I did not like the spring not sitting flush on the seat. To each his own.
Note that this pic was after compressing the spring and seat to near
coil bind in an arbor press (i.e. the spring was never seated completely).

Alright thanks guys......I will probly wait till the springs come in (should be in this week) and see what it looks like with the stock seat. I may use what's on the car now, they are made by P.E.P.........maybe they will seat better.
