i think i install it wrong, instead standing position, i put the tranny cooler sideways, so the two holes in the cooler is not top and bottom, it's left and right....my question is, is this gonna have some affect on the efficiency of the tranny cooler?? thanks guys....

Thats how I put mine in, I dont think there would be much room if it were standing up, I dont think it'll make a big difference either way, there will still be pressure moving the fluid.
