install problems with aeromotive afpr

I have a 93 Z28 and I just bought an aeromotive AFPR. The only problem that I have is that I can not install the fuel lines onto it becuase the clamp that holds the line into the regultor and I believe return line will not fit. It seems the aeromotive regulator is farther back on the fuel rail. Has anybody ran into this? Thanks in advance.

They told me that they had a problem with different types of fuels and had to change the diaphragm. When they did that, they had to change the shape of the regulator. Instead of being the design in the pictures, mine was red and black and much fatter than the pic. They explained I should tie-wrap or Zip tie the regulator to the fuel rail. F!@# that. I left my stock one on and it's fine.

Ditto. Aeromotive told me to zip tie it as well. I just returned mine and replaced it with another stock regulator. You don't really need an AFPR on an LT1 anyways.

The 93s also have a differnt fuel rail than the 94+. You did get the correct FPR correct?
