install help

Just got that Ac pulley delete PN NAL-10115875 from summit, its not as large as the ac pulley for the compressor. I was wondering how to install it, it kinda looks like a small tensioner, it has 3 bolt holes aswell. Just wondering, thanks for the pn shoebox ;]

Re: install help

Is it specific to an LT-1 motor? If the pulley is visibly smaller, then you are going to run into belt size issues.

Re: install help

This is specific for the LT1 and comes stock on the earlier 1LE cars. The pulley on that bracket is smaller but it's also sort of shifted to the left. It bolts in place of the AC compressor on the accessory bracket using the same 3 bolts for the compressor.

Re: install help

simply remove the a/c compressor and bolt the pulley in its place. most people say they use a shorter belt with this pulley.

Re: install help

It's just an idler pulley. It may be a different size because there were two different size a/c pulleys used over the years. You may need to resize your belt. Don't ask me what size you need.
