instalation help
what part..... I dunno what kind of pulleys you got but if its like my March pulleys. You'll need an impact gun to remove the nut on the alternator and a puller to remove the harmonic balancer. After that just put it on.
There are two different types of U/D crank pulleys available. One is an "add-on".... you pull your stock damper/pulley off, and sandwich the new U/D pulley between the stock damper/pulley and the hub.
Second type is an "integrated" pulley and damper that totally replaces you stock damper/pulley.
You need to identify which type you have.
Removing the stock piece, in theory simply requires that you remove the serpentine belt, remove the three bolts that hold the damper/pulley to the hub, tap it and it will come off in your hands. Unfortunately, if you have a lot of rust, it may take a 3-jaw puller to get it off the hub. Pull with the jaws on the inside diameter, not the outside.
Reinstall is simply a matter of bolting the pieces back together. The damper/pulley will only fit on the hub one way, since the three holes are not evenly spaced. You will also need a shorter belt.
