I have a 96 Trans Am w/ shorty headers. Everyonce in a while my egr flow malfunction code will come on and dissapear after a few starts and only occurs about once every 1000 miles. The car has been tuned and aside from this prob, will the pcm store the code? I'm curious will it show up when they hook my car up for emissions, even if it is not showing at the present time? Thanks.

 

So nobody knows if when they plug the comp in to check emissions on OBDII if it will pull up stored codes, or if I will be fine w/ no codes showing at the present time?? In Texas if that matters.

 

I'm pretty sure it'll stay in the pcm as a stored code ...
