Insight needed on trouble codes

Okay guys I have a lt1 that is giving me some funky problems...
Here are the codes I am getting: this is for a 94 lt1 with a 95 flash and a 97 trans in it...

83 tcc pwm circuit fault...

16 distributor ignition system low resolution pulse?

43 one thing says esc failure the other says knock sensor circuit.
I currently don't have the wire hooked up do to a missing connector....

What I am trying to understand is I used both freescan and datamaster with the key on and no engine running It shows the engine at 50 rpm. It also shows the knock counts to be 3200 somthing with no wire on the knock sensor how can I be reading this level? Does anyone have any ideas where and how to check these. Any input would great and thanks alot guys....
Also the truck seems to idle fast.... it is calling for a 3200 rpm start up and then gets to the point that it commands 800 but stays at 1500? Thanks a ton guys..

If yours is an automatic, there is something going on with the TCC (transmission converter clutch) circuit or reverse lock-out if it is a manual.

16 is an opti hiccup. Since it is running, it may or may not come back.

43-ESC (electronic spark control) and knock sensor circuit-same thing. If your knock sensor is disconnected, that is the cause. It will also cause the timing to be retarded as a failsafe, since it cannot use the knock sensor to detect knock.

Don't worry about the rpms with it not running.

Knock count is a cumulative register, so it's all the counts it has seen since last reset or the counter rolled over.

The pcm may call for a high rpm at first fire, then quickly adjusts it lower after the engine gets going.

You might want to check the IAC passages for gunk if the idle does not come down. Also check for vacuum leaks. Note what the IAC counts are.

Okay sounds good I am going to try letting it get up to temp and seeing what it does... What could cause the opti to react that way? I have cleared the codes several times and it keeps comming back... I know nothing about the trans in the truck as I got it from a wrecked car... Is it just possible to have a bad selenoid? The thing is all the parts exept from the trans cam from cars that I drove in the past 6 months.. It also turns over hard at first like a hot engine with to much timing.. I will try to sample some runs on it tonight and post the input...
