Would an inline fuel pump be okay for an LT1 engine fitted into a Jaguar XJ. The Jaguar has two tanks, so, installing an intake LT1 pump is difficult.

Will an inline pump, that pumps out of each tank at a time, be reliable on the long run. What type should do the job.

Edit: Will MSD-2225 pump work for the LT1 engine. Pressure was not listed for this pump.
