injectors

I am going to replace my injectors ( one is dead) , what is the largest size i can run with the stock tune. I am asking because i want to do a rebuild in the near future and dont want to buy injectors twice. I will run these for about a year while i gather my parts together for the rebuild

Why not just buy a new one or rebuilt one until you are ready for all new ones? The size of the injector will be based on the expected fuel needs which may vary depending on your ultimate modifications. JMHO

I wouldn't run larger than stock with the stock tune.

From what I've read on the subject, you need to tell the PCM what size injectors are installed. If you change to anything other than stock, you would need to have it reprogramed.

If you have a stock tune, you have to run stock size injectors. You might get away with a set of 24# SVO/Ford/etc. pintle style injectors that flow a few % more than the stock injectors, but that's the limit. Put a larger injector in it and it will run pig rich(er) at WOT.

Buy one stock injector.
