injectors

right now im running the 847 cam along with a 150 wet shot with all the goodies, and a 255 intank pump.At what point should i step up the injectors? and what size should i go up to?

I would talk to a performance shop about that one, cam only #30 Ford SVO injectors would be fine, I would be guessing when I said maybe to step up to #36 injectors. I will being doing the same with my 383, and a different cam but still looking to throw a 150-200 shot ontop of that.

The wet shot doesn't affect injector selection.

To get a decent estimate of injector size required, multiply your NA flywheel HP by 0.07

That assumes a 0.48 #/HR/HP BSFC, and an 85% injector duty cycle.

I'd say you're at the point where it would be a good idea to step up from stock injectors, but how far depends on how efficient your tune is.

are 42's to much, maybe 36's?
