Ok in the middle of putting together a 383 for my 95 6 speed Z with LE3 heads/cam, stocked ported intake, long tubes, 58mm tb. Never have bought injectors before and really dont know the best brand to get?? I know i need a 36-42 pound injectors and im leaning more towards like 40 or up, guess cause i really want to pull 450 to the ground if possible on motor, and because i might squeeze on top of that. What do you guys think??

 

Hard to tell how much flywheel you will need to make 450rwHP, since you don't have any basic info, like the tranny type.... but assuming you are shooting for 530flywheelHP, and allowing for a BSFC of 0.48 #/HR/HP and a maximum of 80% duty cycle, you would need 40 #/HR injectors.

Thats for an NA application. Whether you need any added injector capacity for the N2O would depend on what type of system you use, wet or dry, and how you plan to add the extra fuel for a dry system - increased fuel pressure or increased pulse width.

 

With that power level you'll need to step up your fuel pump too; an in-tank Walbro 255 lph will feed your system through the stock fuel lines.

 

I am basically doing the same major mods as you. I talked to the racetronix vendor and ended up going with their 42# injectors and 255 lph fuel pump with plug and play. That way you can always go up from here and not have to upgrade your fuel system. They told me that 36# injectors would basically be maxed out. They are the same price anyway.
