24's will work but you'll have to change your tune so the computer knows you have 24's in there. You can find 24# SVO injectors all over ebay. New and used and the 24's are pretty reasonable in price.

You need a new chip burned for the ECM.

Not unless you get Hypertech to burn you a new one for 24# injectors (programmed at 24.896#/HR for stock GM 24's).

Your probably running on the rich side though. Not really bad rich, but you'd probably make more power if you got retuned for the 24's.

I put Accell 24 lb. Injectors in about a year and a half ago. No tune. No problem. The ECM constants chop them down. I had nothing to worry about.

Re: Injectors 24pd Can I Use In Stock 93

The problem is that the ECM long term fuel corrections can only pull 15% maximum fuel. That means you are using most of that capability up with the oversize injectors, and the ECM is going to run into a brick wall when the long terms reach 108. Then it will have to rely on the short terms, which is not a good idea.

All that applies to closed loop, part throttle/part load operation. When you go into power enrichment mode (=~ WTO) since the long terms were cutting fuel in closed loop, the ECM will default to Cell 18, or as a minimum lock the Cell 15 long terms at 128, and you will be running 10-15% rich.
