Question Injector size

This might need to be in the Stroker section but it's LT-1 related.

I have a 383 stroker with the following:
383 Stroker
10.7:1 Comp
Stock Intake
52mm TB
42lb Injectors
Cam: 228/234 Dur @ .05 .529/.522 lift w/1.5 108* CL 104*Intake Center
AFR 190's
2.02/1.60 Valves
8.5 MSD Wires
NGK TR 555 Plugs
Stock Opti. w/ MSD Cap & Rotter
Hooker LT's
No CAT, EGR,AIR System

When I had the car dynoed last year with my other setup I was making 360RWHP 340 FTLB Toqure wit a .500 lift cam, AFR 180's & 24lb Injectors.

I'm P Stinking U rich, I mean if I nail it at night I can fog out the car behind me for a second.
I figured with the new cam, heads I would be making around 500 at the fly wheel and I would need at least 40lb injectors so I went with the 42's but I think I went to big.
I don't think the fuel is Atomizing (?spelling) the fuel good at all

Would it be better to go down to a 36 or 30 and raise my fuel pressure to get the fuel to mix better?

Re: Injector size

Your tune is way off or the injectors are leaking badly.

Re: Injector size

Have you had the PCM reprogrammed to adjust for the new injectors? With a properly programmed PCM, injectors are rarely too big anymore. Modern injectors can atomize fuel properly at very low duty cycles. If you have not got the injector size compensated for in your tune, you need to.

Re: Injector size

Well the tune came to me with the Injectors set at 38lbs and I changed that right away to 44 and I'm still rich but everything seams to be working right, no codes to speek of and I have put 50 miles on it.
I also have a "hick-up" when I get after it but my TPS sensor is set at .63 Volts so I don't know what to do about that??
