Injector problems?

This is for a friend with a 94 Z we just did a rebuild with a mild cam & Edelbrock headers. The cam is 218 @ .05 in. & ex. on 112 las.

It runs OK but it has a miss at idle on #5 & #8 bring it up off idle & it's OK.
He had the injectors cleaned at a GM dealer prior to putting it togther.
He was going to bring it to the dealer & have them scan it & see what they find.

Second ? are the stock injectors going to deliver enough fuel with the above mods or should he step up to a bigger set or maybe just an adjustable fuel press. reg.?

Thanks Jim

Re: Injector problems?

The stock 24# injectors will be adequate over 400 flywheel HP. He isn't there yet. No need for an AFPR.

Re: Injector problems?

Thanks, what about the misfire @ idle, like I said the injectors were just cleaned.
Maybe the cleaning loosened up enough crud to cause problems?
I'm an old school carb guy I'm not too educated on FI.
