injector install - help please

could someone tell me how far down the injector is supposed to go into the intake. Or better yet, maybe a picture of 'em properly installed. Is it possible to put them in while still connected to the fuel rail. This is the first time for me and I just can't tell if they're in all the way. Thanks

yea, Thanks, if you look at the left picture, I think you can still see some of the tan showing on the injector. The picture to the right looks like they're down further. I definatley have some of the tan showing on all but two at the front. thanks for the pic, but still undecided. What is the preferred method to put them back in ? Is it ok to leave them attached to the Rail to put them in ? Thanks

Yes you CAN install them with them on the rail, I took mine out and back in that way when all 8 of them were clogged ...solid lol 8 years sitting with old fuel.

Anyways, just make sure when you clip the injectors to the rail, that you line them up rite with all 8 holes, it should then drop right in. Also if you had to put new orings on them, make sure you dont switch the black with the brown ( Think those are the colors of the O-Rings )
