I can't wait to see the track results after the new coil AND with it fine tuned... should lay down some impressive times!
Hurry up and give Taner's record a run for it's money... I've got the Molsen Canadian ready for the party up here, LOL.
Joe, I do believe it's time for you to spec out a cam for Tim's next set up...

lmao!!!! all i need is a centersection with a set of 4.71 gears and a new camshaft, lol!!!
i am sure i will go that route, at some point......nothing dark about it, that commands even more respect , least in my book!

respect comes when somebody works hard to earn something...You have the same respect for what you have done,,doubt i could row gears as good as you..lol

No doubt tanner. To go as fast as you do in a 6 speed commands respect ..power adder or no power adder. Just the fact that there are only 2 6 speeds in the 9s period ..the other one being a ls1 just shows how bad *** that is.
Hopefully we will see something tomorrow night. I'm gonna give it a shot before the coil gets here. Maybe my problem will stay away at least for one good pass.
And as far as the next setup...I think I'm actually gonna try to go fast this time.

at the very least I'll respect ya.....dont even try to persuade ls1 folks to however, trust me it wont happen...Lt1's are old decrepid technology we cant compete with the all mighty aluminum 15* head engines...well atleast they thought that for a while anyway
but atleast we can **** em off...now thats fun...LOL

which one I have two this year??
your right somewhat about potential, but you are kind of leaving one thing out..Its still a oem iron block factory 350 ..not a 400 or aftermarket peice... we unlike ls1 guys dont have 5-6 blocks to choose from of 6-7 different variations of heads to work with...if a lt1 is a sbc then a ls1 is a c5r with a composite intake lol

And then the All Pro Monster?
My next project is based on a stock LS1 block, I can't handle those sleeves and race blocks. ;-)

ls1 are ok I givem that...hell the first one I ever actually had a hand in ran 10.37@129 with a hyd. roller and factory ported 5.3 heads on stock bottom end ...so they got potential no doubt...
