Info on tornado air
I found this on Dirt Road mag site. Ive always been skeptical about it.

Yeah, the claims are that the vortex air current will travel more freely. They use the example of where you swish a bottle and turn it upside down. The spiral flow in the bottle will allow it to empty the water VERY fast. However, the spiral flow here allows the water the maximum area to pass out the bottle while allowing the AIR a clear channel to freely move into the bottle. No glug, glug, glug, which is very slow.
The problem is that the tornado tries to make the same claims on this air ONLY system. The same principles do not apply. The system is not having to release pressure of another fluid. All air flow is going the same direction, in the engine.
The best I could see this doing is trying to create a laminar flow of air (allowing for faster movement). However, unless the laminar flow is maintained throughout the system, the gains will be minimal at best. It's like making your garden hose swirl the water for about 3 inches to get better volume of water out the end... YEAH RIGHT!!

Laminar flow is the farthest thing you would get by putting something like this in.
Laminar - smooth
Turbulent - self explanatory
But then sometimes I've been tempted in the past to buy one just to do a back-to-back dyno with/without and post the results for all to see and prove if it's worth anything or not. I get tired of hearing seat-of-the-pants testers. I dyno ALL my mods, that's the only way to tell the truth.
They are probably sponsored by Tornado so of COURSE they're going to have "good things" to say about it. Hell, I would too if they were sponsoring me, whether I personally liked the product or not.

hehe, I sent Tornado a lengthy email last night, CHALLENGING them to send me one of their products for my car (I didn't send money). I told them I would take it down to my favorite shop (Turbo Technology) and run it on the dyno back to back, averaging 2-3 pulls with and without the tornado installed. I said I would send them copies of my dyno sheets when finished, and post the results on all the message boards I'm registered on, good or bad.
.....waiting for a response from them.
