Improvements with a 4000 stall on a 12.5 car
No stall at all yet? If so then you will definately see a great increase but maybe a bit overdone for the Hot Cam. I ran a 12.9 with my Hot Cam on a stock stall then I went to a 3200 vig & ran 12.3's all day. It is probably the most optimal stall for the Hot Cams HP range. However for the never ending quest of trying to get everybit of et I can I am, as we speak getting my stall re-stalled to 3600 along with the FLP Level 4 trans. I am hoping It don't cause me to lose a bit of ET. It very well could, but I have to try...
My stall is still stock. What were your mph on a stock stall? The hotcam puts out power well over the 4000 rpm. 4000 and above is where it is at its best. How did you get your OBD1 to run with a stall over 3000. I am going with a 700r4.
