Impala head gaskets?
I have heard that you can put impala head gaskets on your car and gain a little compression.....is this true? What is the part # thanks

yes true. stock is 0.049, impy is 0.029. the equavalent to having your heads shaved 0.020. gm part number is 12551488. you have to order 2.

For the lil you may gain with impy gaskets, I have had soo much luck with the felpros. Lots of guys on here use them and they are a proven performer..

Fel-pros, I think they're .28 and better quality gasket. I had both oem and Fel-pro and went withthe Fel-pro, they just look like better quality.
