Hey Guys, Im just getting ready to torque my New LE2 heads on my motor tonight.......We decided to go with the Impala headgaskets since I got several defective Mr Gasket 5716's(some damaged in shipping, and others had the shrinkwrap stick so bad that much of the black surface was removed with it..(even after leaving them in the freezer for a little while as recomended).....According to Mr Gasket, they're in the process of changing the packaging for them right now..........anyway, my question is: that since the Impala gaskets don't indicate which side up on them, I was wondering if any of you guys know if it makes a difference which way they go.......I was gonna guess and put the side of the head gasket with the "most" metal facing the block, but wanted to check here first since I know many of you run them......thanks for any help..........Joe

 

For anyone that wonders the same thing......I found out that they can go either way......
