i'm new here..=) and i have a question..

hello i'm new to a v8 engine...probably u guys knew tmdz28 and he is my teammate.... i just sold my vr4 for a 95 z28..and i'm happy about this... BTW...i had problems with my new car..
this morning while i was driving... and then make a stop at the light...the rpm stays at 2000 and i thought it was because of the pedal gas that was stuck. so i try to pull the pedal gas with my right leg(while my left was steeping on the brake hard)... and the pedal gas was loose...so while i was stopping i burnt my tires the whole time till the light turns green... and so i tried to push the pedal gas again(this time harder untill around 2800-3000rpm) and then it just went back to normal...
why is this happening??? is there something wrong with the tranny or maybe some loose cable connection in my pedal gas sections???

It sound's like a tweaked throttle cable to me... take a look under the hood see if any of the brackets are loose or if the cable is tweaked.

Take off your intake elbow and make sure nothing is jammed in the blades.

Lubricate the whole throttlebody assembly.
