Im runing richmonds in my car, no complaints here. But if your exhaust is quiet, you may wanna go with a different brand, some people cant take the whining noise.

i have richmond gearsand they are the best because they are the hardest metal and they are known for their noise but on my car they dont make any noise just because you have to know how to set them, i had a freind do it and they dont howl at all.

i've had motive, richmond and genuine gm 3.73s. the richmonds and motives both whined with the richmonds definately being the worse of the two. the gm gears are dead silent and are well worth the extra money in my opinion.

I have a set of Precision Gears and really like them. No whine at all, unlike the Richmond's i had previously.

I have GM 3.42's in my Z. They are dead quiet. I have Richmond 3.55's in my LX. They have some whine, but nothing major.

I have Richmond 3.73s and love them. Then whine a little but I believe that is because the are cut straighter (sp?) and whine more, but that makes them stronger (much like the M22 rockcrusher)
