I changed my oil pump this weekend and I was looking at the cylinder wall. I noticed that all the cylinders still had the origonal cross hatch scuff marks to make sure the rings seat better. Is this possable with 161K on the motor?

 

if you are talking about the bottom of the cylinder wall or the non thrust sides of the cylinder yes, the rest, very unlikely but possible. Mobil 1 is great stuff!
