Im bringing my car to Mufflex Friday to get the muffler replaced right now i have the Magnaflow on it which in terrible sounding REAL terrible it has thew worst tin can rattle raspy sound ive ever heard kinda like a 60's glass pack .anyway they want to put a spintech muffler on i posted here a couple days ago and on some other forums no one really has them WHY? Is there something wrong with them? What other choices do i have i know there's Flowmaster but Mufflex really doesnt want to put one on my car he doesnt seem to like them on LT1's what else is there?Did anyone hear the spintech or knows someone with one HELP i dont know what to do my car sounds like crap and im not even driving it because I HATE THE WAY IT SOUNDS..

 

Try the spintech, but I have not heard a blower car yet that did not sound raspy.

The Flow' will have a deep resonance, peaky in the low 2,000rpm range, sometimes annoying. The SpinTech will have a much more mellow sound, but still reasonably loud. Last time I was at Mufflex, Denny had the SpinTech on his own Camaro. Ask him to start it up.

 

Well im going to MUFFLEX friday i guess i have to wait and see huh? Denny told me to go with the Spintech.. he likes the way the sound...I hope your not right about a blower car being raspy all of the time i hate the way it sounds...You know what confuses me when i had the blower put on with the 4.5 psi stock manifolds ,cats and Magnaflow cat back it didnt sound bad at all no RASPY sound either but when i did the Mods and have headers and no cats now it sounds like HELL well i hope Denny is right.......
