Unplug fuel line before fuel filter. Turn key to on position. Let the fuel pump pump it all out. Refill with 1 gallon of fresh fuel. Pump that out. Put line back on. Refill with 1 gallon of 93 and drive to the gas station to fill up on fresh stuff

Either disconnect the fuel filter under the car or disconnect the line from the fuel rail and run it into a bucket. Then remove the fuel pump relay (under drivers foot rest) and jumper it to run continously. I can't remember what terminals you want but you could check it out in a Hays manual.

How long has it been sitting? If the gas still smells like gas (bad gas smells real bad), I would just throw a few cans of octane boost in it and run it. Just take it easy and listen for spark knock.

Only problem with spinners sugestion is the pump will only run for 4 seconds, then cut off until the engine starts cranking.

Apply 12v to the lil one pin connector over by the PCM.. Its a white wire i believe... that'll run your pump..

I've had good luck with the old siphon method.... but my tank fill pipe seems to have lost the trap for the unleaded fuel nozzle . I also wouldn't run a stock pump for too long with the fuel at the bottom of the tank.

I've also drained the tank by pulling the return line off - but mine is connected to a -6AN nipple on the cross-over pipe at the front of the rails, so its easy to get to, and easy to run another braided line into a jug, and I have an over-ride switch for the second fuel pump under the sump at the bottom of my tank.

I was reading and about to reply but someone beat me to the primer wire. Anyway I have a shrader valve hose rigged up that I can screw on, bypass the Oil pressure switch and then pump the tank dry. Its handy at the track ,especially if you filled up, just pump about 5 gallons out, put in 5 gal of the good stuff then when done racing put the pump gas back in.

Why not just put some octane booster in it and drive to the gas station? It couldn't hurt too much...

Octane booster is a rip-off. You'd have to put tons of it in to make a difference. The "point" that they increase the octane by is really a decimal not a point. (ex. 92 + 1 can = 92.1 octane not 93)

Bypass the oil pressure switch? 4th gens don't have an oil pressure cut-off.

WHat does that wire were talking about do ? I was just shown how to do it I assumed it was an oil pressure switch bypass. The thirgens have one and I allways did that with my older T/A I figured it was the same deal.
