Ignition switch, Ignition cylinder, or what else?

I got off at a video store and i only took about 5min. I get back into my car and it won't start. It doesn't even crank/fire. Radio, windows, wipers etc.. all work. I did notice when i put the key in and turn it forward but not cranking, none of my dash light icons are on. What could this be?

pull the PCM Batt. fues on the side of the dash and let it sit for about 5mins until the security light goes out, put it back in and fire away.

No security light. No lights are lighted at all on dash.

May sound too simple but did you check all your other fuses?

If your headlights still work brightly, it's probably the ignition switch or connection to it. Just for a try to see if it can get you home, try flipping the key back and forth from ON to OFF quickly numerous times and see if it might happen to catch. Depending on the state of deterioration of the switch, it might work.

I changed ignition switch, and car still doesn't turn on. When i turn key over, i was seeing sparks coming from the ignition switch But still no dash lights and won't start. What else could i look into? The pigtail? The blue connector had a brown spot but didn't look to severe.
