Ignition Poll
well i dont know much about dynaspark and i hear many ppl with the LTCC just hate it b/c of numerous problems....and the opti is just a really bad design...or at leat placement of it was bad too
myslef i like delteq as it seems to be the beter of teh 4...never heard of any existing problems with that system and its i almost a complete replcaement o the opti..even tho u still need the opti...
i know little on this but i belive delteq to be one of teh better

LTCC
I like the LTCC because I did some research here & found favorable reviews, as well as getting a good deal on a used one. Due to running a blower, I wanted a better ignition system than the Opti. I looked at aftermarket ignitons such as MSD & Crane, but these still rely on running heavy current through the Opti.
In the new Pontiac High Performance mag there's an article on a guy in there with an LT1 T/A that runs in a new drag racing class (10's on stock block and heads!). In the captions with pics in the article it shows he somehow eliminated the opti. He's still using the cap/rotor in the same location, but he also installed an MSD crank trigger set up on it. I would like to know some more info on this, how it's done, and ballpark cost. Looks pretty effective.
Delteq is the way to go. I have had it on for a few months now, with no problems. It is very easy to install, plug and play! direction are easy to follow. you don't have to chop up the factory harness, either.
I vote for LTCC. Only ignition available with coil on plug for the LT1 ecm. Delteq sounds good also, no thanks to Dynaspark, I already have a rotor flying around in there, I don't need a fancier one.
