Ignition coil

My car was in a fire and i am repairing the engine harness all i have left to do is the ignition coil (gray and black connectors) i have looked at the ignition schematic on shoebox which is for a 95 and is different as well as the schematic in my haynes manual and cannot figure out what wires goes to what connector. the wire colours are pink black and white. could someone with a 94 Lt1 have a look at there's and let me know please.

The pink and white wires go to the grey plug which goes on the connector that's open in shoebox's picture. The pink wire goes closest to the coil wire.
The black connector, on my car, only has a pink wire on it at the same position as the pink wire on the grey plug. The black wire must go to the ICM....

The diagram on my site for 95 is identical to the 94.

I took a pic of my connectors that might help:

Because it is made to fit various models that may use that wire. That's common for replacement pigtails.

You ignore the extra wire. Cut it off/secure it, so that it cannot touch anything.

The wiring for my car is different colour code than a 95. pink white and black are my wire colours so i dont know which wires go to what colour connector and the new black pigtail has 2 wires coming off of it and it only needs one wire to it.U said cut off the extra wire and secure it. But i dont know which wire to cut off the pigtail, does it matter or can i use either one of them.

I don't know what to tell you. The schematics show what is supposed to be there. Is this an F-body? I just noticed you never said what car this is. You say you have a pink wire, a black wire and a white wire going to the coil (the schematic shows a pink wire, white/black wire and a pink/black wire)? Are you sure you are just not noticing the tracer?
Trace the wires back to the ICM connector to see where they go and what color they correspond to on the schematic. That will tell you. This just shouldn't be this difficult.
