Ignition Coil???

Ignition Coil???

I need a new ignition coil?? i heard msd was not soo good....is the stock one ac delco or what?? because they have a nascar high proformance one for ten bucks more?? which one should i go with?? thanx alot for any ideas.

Just go with a stock ac delco one.

the stock AC Delco will do just fine. or u can get the MSD. i have had my MSD for 2 years now and have been very happy with it. it seems to be hit or miss with it on this board. choice is yours

I've also got the MSD coil. There was nothing wrong with the stocker, but everything else in my ignition got replaced so I figured why not? So far, so good.

It would help if you posted some base info about your car (year model would be helpful) for better advice. 96-97 stock coils are pretty decent, but don't interchange with 94-95 coils. Stock coil is ACDelco. Nothing wrong with an MSD.
