I am using the Mallory 685 box for my nitrous application. It has both a built-in timing feature and a window switch along with the benefit of having a hotter spark.

MSD 6AL here. I think the timing module is seperate for this one, someone correct me if I'm wrong. Comes with a built in rev-limiter, which you can change with plug-ins. You just have to get the adapter cable from MSD, unless you want to hard-wire it in.

I was running a Crane Cams HI-6. It was only a year old, approx. 11,000 miles on it...it died leaving me stranded during a road trip. Worst part, it's built in "status Indicator" light was signifying the ignition box was working properly, making it the very last thing I tested/checked.

Don't have one of these but a buddy of mine does and they are very nice.

I have always heard good things about the MSD unit. Someday when my setup requires it that's probably what I'm going with.
