is bound to tear up soon? are the stock rods pretty strong in lt1? crank handle a good bit of power? whats' some things that need to definatly be replaced when getting into the 10s? fuel pump, rear end good at high 10 low 11s? ignition? and what actualy determines how many rpms ur engine can turn safely, the strength of your crank, or your rods or...what exactly?

well the stock rear wont last long once you get to the 11's. the fuel system will be taxed if it is stock when you get in the 11's.

quality of the bottom end,cam choice, and balancing affect rpm's.

Your rear will be the first to go... depending on how hard you are launching and if you're running slicks or not. I've got 4.10s and 285/40R17s. I still don't drop hard on the line but after 3000 RPM in first I'll go 100% WOT. That is on a stick by the way.

Depends on how hard you are on the driveline. But the rear is the weakest link... 10-Bolt.

I can't tell if you are a manual, but your stock clutch might wear a bit too.

I say the rod bolts and main bearings are the weakest internal parts. The rods/crank/pistons should hold some good abuse.

If you're really hooking up, power or not, you're going to start trashing stuff in short order with a manual car. Talk to GreenBeanZ28 if you can, he's down in Easley & has broken just about everything that can be broken thus far
